54. Dream Journal

Dreams apparently reveal the deepest thoughts of the unconscious... August 26 Some guy from my work was in my dream. I talked to him the night before, so that kind of makes sense. I forgot what we were doing, but I remember we were both sitting down. My dad's wife was also in my dream, too. She was making an effort to be really nice to my sister, and they interacted in a way they've never acted before. I've been thinking about her recently because I really miss my half-brother. August 29 I went with my roommate Liz to the Deadman workout center, and I was upset because I realized I forgot my earbuds and so I couldn't listen to music. When I got to the counter (it was also 24 hour fitness) they asked for my ID but I didn't have it because I had forgotten my phone, and they said I couldn't enter. They guy behind me (who was some guy that lives in my commons) pulled out cash and offered to pay the $75 it took to get me in, but I said that I would just go

53. Campus

Image
The SMU campus is a pretty one. I always take walks around campus when the weather is nice to enjoy the sky and the buildings, especially because I can come and go whenever I want. It always makes me happy to think I could just roll out of bed in my pjs and explore my school with my friends on a lazy Sunday (such as today). The Laura Lee Blanton building is my favorite from the outside, and I really like the inside of the Annette Caldwell Simmons Hall, the Owen Arts Center Lobby, and the area outside Perkins Chapel. I love all the building especially right now because they are all decorated for Christmas, which makes me very happy. I often go exploring the different building and areas of campus, and I'm trying to get into every building. I've been into most academic buildings and every underclassmen residential commons (expect Lloyd) and I've been surprised by many things, like the random basement engineering lab, the eerie underground halls of Meadows, and the secret space

52. If I had 1 year left...

Morbid to think about, but what would I do if I only had one year left to live? always with love, Bella Montague

51. fliers

Image
Being in advertising classes, I started volunteering for advertising for my commons, Armstrong. Part of that ended up with me making fliers for various events. I usually do fliers on the website canva. I try to make sure they have no typos, have all of the necessary information, and are aesthetically pleasing. always with love, Bella Montague

50. My last blog!

Just kidding! Haha! You think this will be the last of me? You think I'm going to do 50 blogs, the minimum amount of blogs you can do? You think I'm an underachiever? Well think again, bitch. Never, ever judge a book by her cover. XOXO, Bella Montague

49. DTF (down to film)

For 24 hour film festival, which is a festival where groups have to write, film, and edit a film within 24 hours, me and my group made a film called "Of murder Tree Wrote". The requirements of the film were: It had to have an elevator in it It had to include a National Texas Tree It had to include the line "what's your name again?" Once we were told the assignment, we had exactly 24 hours to complete the film. We started by brainstorming at Buzzbrews. We had all recently watched the movie "Grizzly Man" in environmental science class, which was a documentary about Timothy Treadwell, who loved bears so much (in a weird way) and lived with them for many years. This movie became a large joke in our class, and at Buzzbrews someone exclaimed, "what about Grizzly Man, but with trees?" and the energy of all of us lit up with excitement of this idea. We went back to my friend's house to write the script, and everyone broke down the script
